Homework 1  In Section 6.4: Do problems 15, 1315, 22, and 29. In Section 6.5: Do problems 12, and 17. 

Homework 2  In Section 6.5: Do problems 16 and 19. Find a stable difference method for u_{t} = u_{xxx}. In Section 6.6: Do problems 1, 2, 5, and 9. Also, solve u_{t} + uu_{x} = 0 to t = 4 with u(x,0) = 1 and 0, also 0 and 1, as discussed in class (LaxFriedrichs method).
